Most of the maps in "Diablo 3" are randomly generated. A random map means getting to and killing each boss is unique in it's own way.
But what happens when a boss encounter isn't randomly generated?
It turns out that boss encounters that aren't random are stupid easy to beat.
You can get to "Zoltun Kulle" in Diablo 3 by a simple waypoint. There is also a repeatable quest that gives you lots of xp and gold each time you kill the boss. Putting two and two together: you can write a bot for a witch doctor to run to the boss, summon a bunch of zombies, wait till the boss dies, then restart.
If you have a level 1 dude in your party he'll get the xp and gold also, meaning your bot can give you tons of gold and xp all day every day for free.
You could exchange gold for real life money in Diablo 3. I'm not so amoral as to cheat a game to get some money, but at the same time, getting to level 60 took a lot of time back then and it seemed silly to let this bot go to waste, so I just leveled all my characters to 60 for funsies.
